My first vacation and first time to Mexico. We stayed at the Bahia Principe Akumal. The hotel was great! Good food, very friendly people, nice beach and what I liked best, that the compound contained 3 different hotels. There was lots of space to roam! Tons of restaurants, bars, pools and entertainment to choose from. If you didn't feel like walking you could ride in one of the shuttles, made of stripped down suzuki samurais pulling trailers. It was very close to the Mayan Ruins at Tulum and the Xel-Ha a famous bay for snorkling or floating down the river in a tube. The fish there were really amazing!
