Touring wineyards and tasting samples. World class wines and so many to choose from makes for fun days touring and sampling. This is Canada's only real desert area and temparatures can get as high as 50c. Be prepared to buy wines as you will realize they are very good and tasty. We found some great places to buy from and actually there are too many for the time we were there to sample all wineries in a period of 3 days we allowed ourselves.

A notibale winery you must visit is Ruby Tuesday Winery, taking a song from the Rolling Stone famous music and rumored to be partly owned by the famous rock group, the wonderful swiss lady was a charm to meet and had great wines to purchase as well.

We ate a grand meal at the Lake Breeze winery, amazing lunch of Salmon and vegatables served from the kitchen staff on site overlooking the valley of Penticton.

Silver Sage winery had our favorites for fruit wines that few make amazing tastes.

Soaring Eagle receives no less mention of great wines, we love most of them ourselves and stocked up. They are winners of 16 out of 18 awards at Geneva world competitions. Having a german wine maker to ensure they have perfection in their craft.
